Are you one of the SMART coffee drinkers that drink your coffee black or are one of the FAT coffee drinkers (like me) that just have to have the creamer and sugar Well actually I am a size 10 and quite happy with it, but you know what I mean...
I love the different types of creamer and I don't care how broke I may be, I have to get some from the local dollar store. To tell you the truth, that is some good stuff. I am very particular about my coffee and what goes into it - and I was a little leery about buying my "coffee," "artificial sweetener" and "creamer" from them - but soon learn't, they all taste the same(lol). And here I have been paying TOP dollar before I got laid off, for stuff that really did not deserve that inflated price!!!
We would love to hear from you!

Love my french vanilla cream! But now since on a low fat diet for awhile, doing the fat free, french vanilla creamer but it is better than the alternative!

I have a good friend who loves her coffee black. No sweetener, no creamer.... just black! I wish I could do that!!! I LOVE the flavored coffee creamers, but once I found out the majority of them are made with hydrogenated oils - which store themselves in your arteries I tried experimenting with different creamers. I tried the pure dairy - lots of fat - but at least it's fat your body can process. Way better than hydrogenated!!! But, they make me feel bloated. I like the soy coffee creamer - nice and rich. Lots of carbs though. And I like the coconut milk coffee creamer. The plain is not bad on the carbs. And sometimes I'll sweeten with coconut sugar as a treat. Of course this morning, being rather grumpy, I just dumped some chocolate in my coffee LOL!!! It's not too bad though - It's the Starbucks Mocha - with just 6gs of sugar per serving

Hi Deanna:
I never heard of coconut milk coffee creamer and I was born in Jamaica, West Indies where we have coconut trees all over our island.
And coconut sugar???
Where did you find these items...
Thanks,

They carry the coconut creamer in a couple of our grocery stores - and the health food store.
My mom brought me the coconut sugar - but I'm pretty sure they carry it at health food stores too.
I'm very frugal with it - because I'm sure it's got to be twice the price of regular sugar LOL. But it tastes more like brown sugar - so yum!

Oh, why did I have to read that? I've always just considered the calories and figured it was worth it :-(
The saddest time of the year for me is when my carefully stashed Pumpkin Spice runs out until November or so when they start stocking it again. That usually happens in May. My kids no longer are surprised when I buy 10 creamers at a time...gotta get it while they have it!

I drink my coffee with coconut milk and raw honey. I typically vary the kinds of herbs I add to my coffee but it is usually a blend of cardamom, cinnamon, all spice, nutmeg, real vanilla and clove. I use a dark roast for lower acidity and whether people drink it black or regular it's a hit.

Hi Laura, does the creamer get old???? If yes, how do you keep it fresh with stocking up? I use the powdered creamer as the ones you have to refrigerate are just too expensive for our budget at the moment. Those I know do get old like milk does Oh, why did I have to read that? I've always just considered the calories and figured it was worth it :-(

Hi Deb, so the dark roast has less acid. I need to start drinking this as sometimes my stomach kicks up a storm after drinking too much coffee - but do I reduce the amount, no Now some days I can stop at one cup in the morning, but like today - I know it is going to be an "all day" sipping... Never heard of honey in coffee, just tea. Neat idea! I drink my coffee with coconut milk and raw honey. I typically vary the kinds of herbs I add to my coffee but it is usually a blend of cardamom, cinnamon, all spice, nutmeg, real vanilla and clove. Hello Angela,
Going baack to your post when you used your size 10 FAT in the message, here in S A we would spell that kind of FAT as PHAT ... like or as in "You have a phat no-chance of getting me to give up my creamer!"
PHAT ... such a nice word!
Cheers

Sooo can't do just black coffee. Love 1 sugar and a dollop of light cream in my italian roast. On days when I can't get my butt in gear, I'll splurge on a mocha cappuccino I don't usually have flavoring in my coffee unless I think I need the sugar rush, and then it's MOCHA TIME!!! *is currently drinking a lovely italian roast as I type*

When I'm taking my afternoon hike with my dogs, drinking the coffee-- it's actually no calories because I'm burning them off as I sip! I've always had a very high metabolism. The largest person on my father's side of the family is my father at a whopping 5'5, 132 lbs! hehe We're all short and slender-even the men!

Good for you. So you hike - awesome. When you have some time and feel up to it, you have to tell us about your hikes - like, have you hiked up some very high mountain or in another country? Good for your doggies. Do you carry water for them? When I'm taking my afternoon hike with my dogs, drinking the coffee-- it's actually no calories because I'm burning them off as I sip! HA HA Laura, I am glad to hear I'm not the only one who does that... yes... I work hard to avoid those creamers. Except in October when the pumpkin spice comes out.
Woe to me LOL!
