Well, I can tell you that I use Paint Shop Pro v8. I took a basic graphics course for PSP at VU.org. The course is currently $12 and it's totally worth it. That's how I learned the basics of working with images. The rest is simply practice.

Hello there and thank you for this fascinating article. I would like to help. I don't doubt that the cost of raising these dwarf and pygmy giraffes is high and Blotovsky Farms must surely need all the assistance they can get (especially with all the orders they must be receiving from all over the world from those interested in these unicorn cousins).

I would like to donate my Bonsai prunings (I check and trim daily) which I could package according to instructions. If I send it via pygmy mail will they arrive safely enough? I enquired and I do have enough money in my piggy bank to pay for the dwarf revenue stamp necessary for the export permit for bonsai prunings.

Do you have any information on international delivery companies that may deliver door to door for charities sake? I hear they (the PGs and the DGs) are partial to acacia leaves and I have quite a few of those in my Bonsai collection. Don't fall about laughing now as my friends did. Sincerely yours in humour and noting the date...cheers, Lestie - Container Gardening.

P.S. I was going to order one for myself to roam around my containers on the patio but I need an import permit. Darn.

That's so funny Leslie! I used to have a bunch of bonsai trees until my ex killed most of them.

I forgot to mention that the pygmy giraffe wallpaper is 1600 x 900 pixels. Is there another size you guys might want?

Also, if you have idea for other wallpapers, I'll see what I can put together. smile

Hey Jeanne - sorry to read about your Bonsai loss! They need daily watering, is this how he killed them? Anyway, perhaps you will gather those you have and start againish, often Bonsai trees are forgiving and a lot tougher than we think. Time consuming though and another real joy in life I find. They are perfect patio plants and not really for indoors for decoration. Greenhouse indoors for protection yes but not as indoor plants. Well that's what I have found.

Remember the Karate Kid movie and Mr Miyagi's bonsai they replanted on the mountainside? I loved that scene. Anyway cheers for the nonce, Lestie

Actually, they got left outside and we had a frost. I had asked him to bring them in and he forgot, of course! I had had them for a couple of years.

Maybe someday I'll get some more bonsai trees. They do require a lot of daily TLC.
