Hi Everyone:
Do you believe the "Law of Attraction" is working for 2011?
And by this I mean with the recession.
YES, I know that it does mentally, but to be honest when the bills arrive I have to really work at focusing on the end product of them being paid (lol).
While I do not judge my value based on what income I have coming into my pockets, I do not like not having any.
Looking forward to your thoughts on this subject.
Thanks,

Angela I have just seen off a friend who stayed the weekend who lives the law of attraction to levels I could only dream of... (which may also be a comment on why the law of attraction does not always work so well for me!).

Hi Asha: Thanks for stopping by I am having one of my "senior" moments = not understanding your post, sorry. Are you saying that the "law of attraction" is not working for your friend and that is why you are not into it? Again, please accept my apologies for not understanding. Thanks,

Thanks for asking Angela and no worries about understainding . My friend has believed in the law of attaction for a long time and I have seen her maifest what she needs and/or wants through this belief. So for her the law of attraction works very, very well.

I am a huge believer in setting goals - goals focus my energy on what I want, what I am aiming toward.
Then, I believe the Law of Attraction kicks in. You attract your most dominant thoughts. BUT also there must be action - you can't just sit and "wish" something to happen. To me, it is a combination of L of A and consistent positive action.
Is our country as a whole in positive thought and action or, have we given into the "recession" mentality?
I don't know the answer but I do know that we are still creating millionaires and there are more billionaires on the Forbes 100 list than ever before.
Good question Angela! You obviously understand the L of A and I know you are going positively forward. Stay focused on what you want. I wish you all the best!

I think the Law of Attraction is another name for greed.
We only get in life what is ours to have. Some people have more than others. Some people are far more motivated by money than others.
I know if I really want something I can always find a way to get it and if I don't get it I know it wasn't mine to have.
I believe God gives us exactly what we need, some of us just want more than others.

Hi Sharon - thanks for sharing and the encouragement.
Hi Linda - you have an interesting point and one that I respect. Yes, sometimes GREED does factor into life and it is sad.
Thanks to you BOTH,

Great point Linda! Law of Attraction is fine and it works especially if you take action but so many people just focus on the money aspect of it.
I believe the same as you. If I really want something I can get it and when I don't get it it wasn't mine to have.
The one thing I wanted most in my life back when I started my business 4 years ago wasn't money it was peace of mind, the ability to take care of my family, a closer better relationship with my family. I got all that and the money just came as a result plus God sent me a decent man as a bonus : ) It's not about the money or the stuff.

LOL Monica, you have indeed sold me on stuff working = you are proof. Right now I want BOTH - money & peace of mind. I now have the luxury of not having any kids to take care of. Time to explore and enjoy

Work on the peace of mind first. Once you have that the rest will follow. I remember being so stressed at one point when all that stuff I mentioned was going on and it was not helping me think straight. Let go of expectations and just relax and see what happens : ) The right course of action for you will follow from that.
