Chief Seattle (1780 - 1866) once said: "There is no death - only other worlds."
My eldest brother passed on in 2007. I know he is at peace and happy on his new journey. He keeps in touch once in awhile.

SKYELAW, my thoughts are with you as you try to ease your brother's fears and share your peace and knowledge. Since a child, my views and perception of death (crossing over) have been unique within my family. Sometimes it can be hard to share our views kindly and with tenderness, especially in times of fear or grief.
But as you say, and science is learning, we are energy. Energy cannot be destroyed, only released and transformed.

Lawrence, I also send prayers for your brother. I went researching for "irregular heart beat" (Heart Arrhythmia) and found a link that may help all of you better understand this condition. My mother had this condition about a year ago and a pacemaker was put in her. She is 88 years old and feeling great. Here is the link: Heart Arrhythmia

thanks icp for your comments, we have nothing to fear whatsoever, i think we should be taught in schools from a young age that death is not the end instead of frightening us with the thoughts of hell. if supposing there is a hell then surely only the real bad guys would go there, we would have to do something really bad us normal people its just something i dont buy. the native american people suffered a martydom at the hands of the bluecoats as they were called all for greed of gold and railroads now i can see them the bluecoats in hell or such as hitler and his wicked followers. i believe i will go back to the afterlife like i did in the n,d.e. i had. we dont need to be afraid at all.

months ago i had atrial flutter, as in your article link phyllis, and it felt as though i was missing beats, i just stood there not being able to move thinking i was going to pass out and that was only 1 beat i missed. the doctor said if it happened again i was to dial for an ambulance or get to the accident and emergency dept as soon as possible. its not happening now but im woken up with my calfs locked in terrible cramps - they prescribe quinine for this and it could be an electrolyte imbalance, ive got trapped nerves in my neck and i feel this is why im in cramp mode. last night i thought my number was up but it didnt scare me as i no what to expect. it was a good link phyllis thanks for that. lawrence.

This is certainly off topic, but at least a little scientific. Have your calcium and potassium checked. A low amount can cause both heart beat issues and cramps. Been there with both, an easily absorbed calcium supplement and some bananas did the trick.

Phyllis, I remember this story. It was made into a movie starring Jane Seymour, and was called Yesterday's Children. I remember my son showing me a picture he drew - he was about four. He said "This is my toy that I played with in Heaven, and this is the angel, Claire, that looked after us before we were born. She was really tiny. You had blue and purple flowers at your wedding." And that was that LOL!

It's taken me a bit to read through some of the posts. I'm starting from oldest working my way through.
We're in the middle of moving among other things, lol. So, I'm trying to addressed all of the great issues.
Sheesh, first, FAITH. I don't know, but in my line of work, I can't tell you how many beliefs I engage, and the one thing they have in common is that without that faith, regardless of what it is, the person would feel less of something than they are.
Without faith, some would chose to give up, not have something in their lives that pushed them through the real tough stuff.
I grew up Catholic and man did I find experience after experience that showed me more than what I was regimented into believing. The worst answer in the world was, because you're catholic.
For me, o.k., just not. I need more than "just because." But the most compelling evidence for me that Catholicism wasn't the way, was that everybody else was wrong, because. I just can't see a creator that with all of the differences in the world has this one thing everyone has to do in an exact way or not be of true faith.
Phyllis, I finally found the question LCP was telling me about and yes, absolutely, I do feel weight and exhausted actually after I experience a negative person, situation, even a scene where an awful event has occurred.
It's almost as if I took a pain or illness from one area into myself and then need to re-energize. So I play with nature, grow plants, spend time with animals, look at the fog, the stars, etc
