Her first arrival at court is when it is in turmoil. Arriving just as Henry is divorcing Catherine and making no secret of his attraction to Anne, I cannot imagine the intrigue and worry that whatever one says or does is either treasonous or treasonous! Gee, there is very little room for a wrong step, especially during Henry's reign. Many monarchs were rather cruel (as were their courts), but knowing, in hindsight especially, how his affections were bouncing all over the place to find an heir, arrival at court would be frightening, I think.
