More and more people have spoken with me about having "sensitive" children. Children who pretty muchy act beyond their years of age through a wisdom you might see in maybe a 20 - 27 yr old when they're only 4 or 5 or 11 yrs of age.

Do you have a child that is tryhing to bring your attention to more pressing issues, universal issues when in the back of your mind you're wondering why they're not playing with Tonka trucks and barbie dream houses?

All 3 of my children have the gift as I do but they all have it in different areas. My Daughter, the oldest, Is very gifted during her menstrual cycle and she like I did hides from it. My middle child, the oldest boy, is very wise beyond his years, always has been. he is the most gifted of all my children. My youngest, he is very empathic and gets messages.

Have you ever heard of Indigo children? Do you know the traits of an Indigo? Somebody told me once they thought my son was one but I didn't think so.

Hi,

Yes, Indigo and Crystal children were giving those names due to their aura coloring. Indigos have more blue in theirs where Crystals have that mother of pearl type hue.

Indigo children have a bit more head strong attitude and the can't be lied to or they can, but they know right away. In general, their mission is to stomp out things that just don't make sense and clear the brush basically for crystal children to do their work.

I have a daughter that has characteristics of both but she is primarily of an indigo personality. Many Indigos have scattered energy, meaning they feel the need to accomplish a great deal in a short period of time so they tend to start a lot of projects. They also are very independent and aren't very good at hiding how they feel. You pretty much always know what's going on with an Indigo. In school they might be considered to have ADD.

crystals tend to answer you before you've asked a question. My daughter does this. Their brains are rigged up a bit differently and to them they are talking with their minds and don't really understand not everyone can do this. So they may have some delayed speach but I've found that some hear the words in their heads and depending non the child's motivation can end up saying words that are really years ahead of their vocabulary.

I'm so glad they are among us...have you seen "Psychic Children" on A&E? Awesome show...

I'm thinking about adding a page on my site dedicated to the Indigos and Crystal Children. They are so very important to our future!

Hi Karen,

You know I've noticed this SOOOOOoooo much. You can put me in a room with these children, give me about 5 minutes and wam! I get a read on them. Their personalities are so strong. In the past, I'm sensitive sure but I'd say for me anyway previous groups of kids, they kind of felt like "lost" children. So I'd have to sit with them before I was able to give a reading.

This other group of children or the "sensitives" I call them that because primarily they just are. These are the kids that are going to bring back and operate out of their intuition primarily and make beautiful partners later on in life. They won't necessarily be of the "me" generation but see the whole picture instead.

With that description, I think my daughter started out with more crystal characteristics, but turned into an indigo around puberty. Auras can fluxuate and change, so I guess it's possible.

As for head-strong, I don't think I have ever known anyone moreso. As for stomping on things that aren't right, we came close to being asked to leave a restaurant once. She has a very loud voice and it carries well. If there is something she thinks is not right, she will be heard.

Hi Shannon!

Yes, I've seen the show. I was enthusiastic so much to see a program that did bring attention to children's gifts. I wish they'd get a little more serious or delve more into testings and such.

I'd say it's 50/50 right now, from what I've watched. Some episodes are really, really good and many of us can go, I have so been there. Other episodes I didn't care for basically because the kids would be fishing. So, they'd be brought to a "haunted" house and they'd scare themselves and then for instance one little girl wrote "MURDER" and went on and on about how something possessed her to write that. It didn't add up, feeling wise. She, was making herself believe she was possessed and the show wasn't on possession, just parent that called the show and said their daughters were sensitive.

I don't know I have a lot to say about children, because I was one and felt what it was like to have the "stuff" and when you're unsure, you go through a myriad of emotions ranging from elations to mostly fear, especially when you begin to realize, not everyone sees things as you do. So, you're impressionable.

Hi Elleise!

Ah...I've only seen one episode so far, and I must have caught a good one...I was really impressed!

Yes, children are so impressionable. I was in a whirling, spinning world when I was a child. Always, always, feeling so much...nearly buried in the rawness of it. And always, I wanted to please my parents -- so confused about the "right" answer. To anything...anything at all. Mostly, I would just burst into tears with the loneliness, confusion and pain of it all. Most of my childhood was in mourning...for love.

Sometimes I will allow myself to linger on it for a moment...how my life might have been different, had I been loved. Understood. How joy might have replaced the bitter sadness, and how my gifts of seeing might have blossomed. Then I simply move away from it...why dwell on the things that can't be changed?

I am now enjoying this newly found sense of being "home." And opening my home to all of the weary souls who need to have a safe place to relax in, to heal. It's beautiful! And I thank you, Elleise, for being a milestone in it... =)

I can't imagine not loving such a tender Soul! I do wonder though, if we don't go through what we do specifically to be a part of a bigger family. Like we jumped in with both feet, knowing many of us were going to be on the other side right along with us.

Oddly enough if I hadn't been born into the family I was, I wouldn't be here writing today. We're not close either. In fact when I was little I remember puting myself up for adoption. I had my crayola map drawn, my suitcase packed and knew where the adoption agency was, lol.

I was leaving and my dad (wise)said, "Where you goin?" After I told him I was giving myself up for adoption, he said, "Why don't you sleep on it and if you still feel the same way I'll drive you down there in the morning.

It is one of the most excrutiating pains when you feel things differently and see and it isn't something that is nurtured and worse told it is evil or that there's something wrong with you. Your "Tree house" is the perfect sanctuary and am so lucky to have found it smile
