Okay, so is there some sort of trick to getting the 0:0:0 score??? I'm not going after the first balloon (because the trainer always gets it and then is always ahead of me for the trail of 4-5 ballons at the beginning of the race), I'm dodging those stupid @$$ birds, the closest I've come to 0 is 17 seconds! It is soooooo frustrating <img src="/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

I swear, I'd rather dodge Lulu's 200 lighting bolts again (several times over) than play around with this race quest ... Is there a *trick* to getting the 0:0:0 score, or am I destined to pull every hair out of my head trying?

Theres no way of getting 0:00 i'm having trouble with it right now.. is there a trick??? I did what you said on the walkthrough and it didnt really help.. any more sugguestion??

Heres what you do (atleast its what i did)

Keep racing the trainor for hours until your so frustrated you throw the controller across the room and scream. Then (after a couple hour break from the game) you come back, catch 1 of every fiend to get 99 dark matters, with which you make your own uber weapon that is better than tiduses anyways because you dont have to have max health to do max damage and you can put whatever stats you want on it yourself.

or you could use the 99 dark matter to get Ribbon (international version) which is really good. i didn't have that much trouble getting. just make sure you get as many balloons as possible, but don't spend too much time going for ones miles out of reach. i even got hit by about 3 birds when i did it on my game

It is possible, I did it! <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> I almost went insane though <img src="/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> , took me about 2 or 3 hours to finally do it. Just keep trying <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

just keep tryin and don't stop that won't work and if u keep tryin u'll see urself improving, I did it in like 1 or 2 hours

i have us version so no ribbon <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

and I tried it for hours, then on my last race i was doing really well, I may have been on time for 000 (not sure exactly how many baloons I had) but right when i got to the finish line a bird hit me, then before i could move another one hit me...then another...then another, yes I got hit by 4 birds in a row before i could even move after the first one, after that i gave up and refused to race anymore

I'll just keep trying, I guess ... I'm one of *those* players whe has to complete ALL of the extra tasks/sidequests to feel *complete* when I finally beat the game LOL <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> Yeah, I'm a nerd like that!

it can be done, i got mine down to 2.5 seconds on my 5th or 6th try and then after another hour or so i finaLLY did it, i ranted on here a bit then went back at it and managed it.
