I'm back from my trip and ready for week two of
Eat STOP Eat. My intermittent fast last week started Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. and ended Thursday evening at 6 p.m.
I had one cup of coffee, one iced green tea without any sweeteners of any kind and two small bottles of water. Had no issues of any kind and was able to get a lot of writing done, did 20 minutes of mobility exercises and yoga in the morning and 40 minutes of yoga in the evening. I broke my fast with a handful of almond/walnut/dried cranberry trail mix then had a moderate size dinner of 2 fish tacos, black beans and one beer. I also went for a 40 minute walk after dinner.
This week I'm starting my IF Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. (that's tonight) and my strategy is a little different because I'm not away. I'm home and my fridge is stocked and that makes it harder since I am in the habit of snacking a couple of times a day.
BTW, for those of you wondering whether this is healthy, the ebook explains all this in detail so please don't criticize or question this method of fatloss unless you have read all the
Intermittent Fasting research.
Constantly dieting on the other hand does horrible damage to your body and slows your metabolism way down. I.F. has been found to speed it up. As always consult your doctor before trying ANY diet!
