Haa! You can always count on walmart to remind you it's awesome to be CF. Thanks for all your responses. Again, I'm just so happy to have found like-minded women. My nephew is almost 8 and has been having problems focusing in school. He's had ear problems so it may be that. But alas, he and my sister are going to see a child phsychologist next week. I realized after talking to my mom about it today that kind of stuff would stress me out to no end. I know his problems are a blip on the radar compared to what it could be. I'm already a worrier by nature and it's only recently I've learned how to deal with it. I admire (some) parents for having the strength to handle those situations. I am sure I would tap into my strength and figure it out but still can't imagine it. There is soooo much you have to do, plan, decide, cope with. For YEARS. What school should they go to, should you put them on a soccer team if they seem lukewarm about it, what if they have learning disabilities, etc. UGH. Anyway, just something to think about. I felt releived today to be CF!

I hear you, gogirl. One of the reasons I chose to be CF was because I knew that the enormous amount of details in raising children would drive me nuts. Like you, I am a worrier by nature, and I am also a person who focuses a lot on small details. I think child rearing would have driven me over the edge!

I am a newbie in this forum, and I am very happy that a lot of people are childless by choice and loving every second of it.I am 27 years old,but I already made a decision that I won't have children of my own.life is too fun and exciting to have myself stuck at home and take care of kids.
