I am really excited to have this wonderful opportunity to share my crafting knowledge. Please ask questions, or give suggestions of ideas you would like to see covered.

Hi Launa,

Welcome to Bella!

I can tell you, just from where I'm living, kids are simply hungry for brain stimulation! Life is hectic and my feeling is anyway, they can use some simple fun things the parents can do to help keep them from getting caught up in it all.

I find kids just coming up to me while swinging on a swing. There's so much knowledge there and quite a bit of hopefulness smile !

There is so much we can give kids to help them learn, but sometimes it is easier to put them in front of the TV. I hope my crafts will spark some creative interest in families.

Thanks for the welcome.

Hi Launa,

And welcome to BellaOnline!

I am so happy that you have taken the Crafts for Kids site. I am looking forward to reading your articles and getting some new ideas. I work in a daycare center, in the infant room, my kids are about 8 to 15 months old, so I'm limited on what they are able to do. But the parents are aware that I must have a lot of input in the pieces they create and are fine with it, they just enjoy getting art to enjoy that their children participate in.

Any ideas or suggestions for this age group would be SOOOOO very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
