That is wonderful that you have fresh, delicious foods to eat!

We are all at different stages in our life, hopefully that woman will find a place where she can relish healthy food.

I'm allergic to almonds but not other nuts. I have a small handful of walnuts everyday and have started eating a few strawberries even though I'm afraid they will set me back if I'm not careful. I SO look forward to those berries. It just made me ill when I read about strawberry farmers destroying their crops!

I've never tried tofu at all. What's the best way for someone who has never eaten it before to try it?

That's interesting about the specific allergy! It goes to show how unique all of our bodies are.

If you're worried about strawberries and their natural sugar, just go for a walk around the house once or twice. That will burn off the calories and start building muscle mass which will become a powerhouse for you. I always find when I face one of those dilemmas that it's far better to enjoy the healthy treat, do a little fun exercise, and you end up way better off all around!

I don't tend to eat tofu myself, but maybe someone else can help? I think it's in my miso soup so maybe that's an idea?
