After the winter we had in mid-Michigan, the recent 70s weather has felt too warm at times. Of course my Dad still has the furnace set at 72 and it's too warm in the house. One way to get me back outside!

AM walking has been wonderful in this weather.

Whew! This is jumping in rather late, but I'm in the midst of a hellacious cold spell here in the midwest. It is bitterly, horribly, nastily cold today. Like in the single digits cold! It went down to -2.3F last night and it's supposed to be like this all week long.

Why, oh, why, didn't I ask for long unders for a Christmas present this year?

Wow that is rather frigid! I work from home so while it's 23F outside right now, I am snug inside. I don't have to go outside until Tuesday smile

I've been working from home answering phones and doing tech support all weekend, but tomorrow I get to go back in to the office. I am SO not looking forward to that below zero cold!

I'm in Illinois now.... and we are under a Winter Storm Warning from 9 PM this evening to 6 am CST Friday.

No wonder I'm so achey today. Everything hurts.

I do love looking at snow and admiring its beauty - but I also am glad I work at home and usually don't have to go out driving in it smile

This is the mildest winter I've ever had, and the first full winter in the desert weather. It's been in the 50s & 60s without much rain.

I still remember the snow from previous years. Yes, I always adored the beauty...until I had to walk or drive in it. wink

When I really need to feel God's presence I go the beach. . .there is something about being near nature and you have no control over the surroundings. . .listening to the waves always calms my heart and I can journal more clearly. . .there is such power, order and peace demonstrated in nature. . .we do not have to try to make the waves break they just do!
