That's exactly how I felt. I told my husband and my mother and they were absolutely outraged like I have never seen any of them before, and called me selfish for comparing both things. I love that you mention it.
About the marriage license, well, it is not really necessary to get pregnant. I wasn't married when I got pregnant, lol.
I don't care for weddings in general, but I literally hate church weddings (at least Catholic) because I have never been in one where the priest didn't take for granted that the bride and groom' ultimate goal and dream was having children. Actually they talk as if that was the whole point of getting married.
