Angie, it can be very time-consuming to monitor pages from Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, Ning, Squidoo, linked in and every other social platform you can use to drive traffic to your business website.
For most people, the best thing you can do is take a look at Google Analytics for your site. Where is most of your traffic coming from? Then take a look at developing a better avenue for the audience you already have.
So for me with RunPee, we focus on Facebook and Twitter almost exclusively. We also get good traffic from Stumble, but that is harder to 'control'. I know some people do really well using Ning to drive traffic and others are very good at Squidoo for exposure.
