Today's meal - A lovely tuna salad dinner, with celery and olives. Conundrum white wine was the perfect pairing (in my biased mind). smile

Bob made me a delicious egg salad today with green olives in it. Yummmm! I'm having Surfrider red wine with it, Surfrider is a Bordeaux blend red.

Today Bob made me a *huge* salad with all sorts of fresh things, he just went shopping. So lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, eggs, olives, cucumbers, red cabbage, raisins, pine nuts, almonds, cheese. I had Chipotle ranch dressing on top. I hate to waste the rest but he just made too much for me!

Having a delicious salad - lettuce mix, raisins, cranberries, cukes, tomatoes and Bob added in sliced apples! Have you had your salad today? Oh, and a bacon ranch that I need to write up smile

I had a great salad yesterday, Bob is getting to be a real expert in salad mixings. It really helps to have a fridge stocked with fresh ingredients! We're aiming for one salad each day as part of our food mix.

It might be tough for me today - I had a 'breakfast' and 'lunch' both out at restaurants because we were out doing things all day long. Maybe my late dinner will be a salad!

Are other people doing well with daily salads?

I had a very simple salad alongside my baked chicken breast.

It was just a mix of butter lettuces (you know, the pre-packaged kind), I chopped up a bosc pear, toasted a few almonds before tossing them in (toasting nuts really brings out their flavor) and used a honey balsamic dressing. It was just right with the fruitiness and the nuts next to my chicken.

That sounds delicious Michelle! I don't think of pears, I should get one every once in a while to add in!

I do like sprinkling raisins on top, to give it that little dash of sweetness.

I didn't have a salad today though, and I really miss it!

Bob was great and made me a cut cucumber and soy sauce salad. I did have my Thanksgiving meal which was absolutely delicious, which Bob made for us. But then later on in the evening when I got hungry, I wanted something light. The prepared cucumber salad in the fridge was just perfect smile
