It seems to me a lot of women fought in the '70's to make family or lack thereof an individual choice and get women opportunities to prove themselves outside the home. It's my personal belief that '80's feminism ruined things for women, attempting to convince them they were incomplete if they didn't have both a career and children...never just one child, but more. I get migraines where tossing my cookies is actually a relief. Sometimes food just doesn't agree with me. I'm a very MYOB sort of person, so even if a woman friend felt nauseous and like she'd vomit, I'd never assume she's pregnant or even ask. That's her business, and if she wants to tell me something like that, she will in her own time.
