I have been allowing my Little Chefs to cook each night with my guidance and supervision. We have stories of recipes that work and some that weren't as successful. Our latest, Little Chef A made caramel sauce. She had to make it twice because the first one burnt. We discovered we were using a pan that was too wide so the liquid only changed color in the very middle and not all over. By the time Little Chef A took it off we could smell the burnt smell. We knew it had to come out immediately so it wouldn't forever be stuck in there. I helped her pour it into a paper cup and soak the pan. A few minutes later it was a hard rock in the cup never to come out!
