Graph Paper may get a basic design, but the proportions aren't exactly what the beadwork will come out. There are downloadable files that provide the correct proportions & I can provide electionically if you have problems looking for them.

Wish I could remember the name of the site I got them from, but will drop it in when I locate it.

How is the loom-work coming? I've got a few projects in mind and need to dust my looms off.

Hi, I would recommend a roller loom, it doesn't limit the length of your projects,it is portable, and it doesn't take up much work space.
