Hi everyone!
It's been awhile since I've been on the forums! Just wanted to thank everyone who tried to help me. I wanted to let everyone know that I GOT MY RAMP!!!!!!!!!!! It did not cost me a penny. It took some research and I had to wait a little while, but I did get it, and it has helped me a lot. My Lupus has unfortunately started attacking my kidneys now, and my kidney function is slowing down. So I don't know what my future is going to be in 2009, but I live each day the best I can. Hi there. I'm so glad to hear that you received a ramp. Can you share with us how you ended up with the ramp, so others in the same situation may be able to do the same? Also, if you are in need of any other items to assist you in your daily living, but cannot afford it, check out freecycle.org. It is a Yahoo news group set up in different places across the country. Plug in your zip code, and you'll see if there is a group near you. This group tries to give things away for free so that someone else may get use out of them and they don't end up in land fills. I've seen many postings for wheelchairs, disabled items, and more. Take a look!

So far my kidney function is not worse. That is a blessing. I am tired a lot though, probably from the other autoimmune disorders. I am still entering sweeps, hoping to win that big one! I don't enter them every day, but as often as I can to increase my chances of winning something big. I figure, if I'm meant to win something, I'll win it. Hope everyone is doing fine! Hi, I am a Christian disabled woman who has a very hard time finding work because of my disabilities. I don't receive enough money from disability to meet my minimal monthly expenses. I have Lupus, Chron's, arthritis, bi-polar disorder, social anxiety disorder, chronic venous insufficiency, IBS, asthma & allergies, sleep apnea, restless legs syndrome, kidney function trouble, scoliosis, and other physical problems beside, and am on about 10 prescription medications a day. I have been having to do without some of my medications because I do not have the money for them. I cannot afford the $10.00 co-pay for counseling, so I have been having to do without counseling. I live in a very small trailor, am a homebody, and live a very simple life. I pray a lot. I don't ask for much, but bills have to be paid. I've been going to the food pantry to get food to help me out, and I received some pet food from caring strangers this week. It is not easy to have to beg for help. I wish I was healthy and didn't have all these medical problems and wouldn't have to ask for help. I am desperate because I really need some caring soul out there who has compassion and empathy to help me. My Lupus and medical problems will not go away. I have no family. I feel helpless right now. I have no savings, live in this 550 sq.ft. trailor, and live with my medical problems every day. I keep praying to God to please bless me with a miracle. If any one wants to help me, I will be very grateful. I know that when someone does something good, it comes back to them. I hope someday I am in a position where I can help someone in need. I hope & pray that I am blessed soon financially. I can show proof to anyone who needs it that I have these conditions and am disabled. Please be my angel and help me.
