You are sooo cool! Today is a big work day but let's pretend we're having a picnic for lunch (we are so easily amused, aren't we?!) out in the pasture with horses and cows grazing off in the distance.....that apple tree over there looks like a great place to sit....ya think?!

I love the country but dig the city too. My girlfriend lives in NYC and we used to get together for a few weekends a year. It was awesome to have EVERYTHING right there for you, any time of the day or night...sushi at three in the morning, haha!

We went walking through Central Park a few times and of course she's walking ahead of me on a "mission" for something as I'm sauntering through the park looking at everything and the sky and trees....lol....what can I say?!

haha, you are so like me Sue!!! I was driving out in the country today, and I kept getting side-tracked driving down random, dirt roads!!! haha

The picnic sounds like fun! I am so there!! I'm looking forward to picking some apples too!

^ Beautiful post about love, and it's so true. We don't have to have love in the form of people loving "us," though that's nice!! What's most important is that we have love for "ourselves" and also for others.... without this, it's true that not much else matters! Love, compassion, understanding, giving.... these all allow us to experience and share joy.

The past six years (november 9 this year will be 7 if nothing changes) nothing. Sure some things and some people makes me smile and even gives me happiness but there's no hope and positivity.
