Sue, this is the front of the house. Can't much see the arches there, but this was the only picture I have handy right now....

What kind of toppings do you use for your snow cones?

To be honest, my favorite type of snow cone treat now comes from Rita's Water Ice! They have so many flavors, and it's delicious!

Granted, the Snoopy Snow Cone Machine wins hands down for kids.

For older kids and adults, check this one out from Home Depot:

Snow Cone Machine

I haven't used it, but it looks like lots of fun! There's other stores you can get it from--Home Depot was the first that popped up on my Google search.

I think it'd be lots of fun for a get together for friends. smile

LOL Connie...We KNOW what projects NEED to be done!!! smile smile

And I agree on the easy bake oven. Cakes that cooked from a light bulb. Icings and frostings that were probably loaded with trans fats.....good company, "priceless!"

Hi Connie, actually, when I hit reply to write you back, the picture blows up so it was easy to see the detail of the porches and arches (you can even see a dog in the window...how cute!!)

And I love the milk cans, I have one that I got in Nebraska. We don't have a porch on the new house, my sweetie was thinking a deck would be nice and I agree but I think a porch would be pretty neat so we are talking about that smile one week from today and we will finally be there full time...yay!!

I think your home is really charming though and I know what you're saying about space with the arches but I really like it....they really are lovely, you've done a great job!

Good morning Brandii!!

The home depot machine is pretty nice and might hold up a bit longer....and they're both reasonably priced (I will be a good girl though and not make the purchase until we are settled in!)

And the Rita's site is pretty cool...thanks for posting them smile

That would be Morty watching to see what mama was doing lol. He is my #2 helper next to my grandaughter. They are both in the middle of anything I am doing or anything I will be cleaning up 5 minutes later!

I don't know how we started collecting the milk cans. I think my hubby found one in a pasture somewhere and then I found one at a garage sale that is from a creamery that used to be down the street in the early 1900's. I wanted to buy it but the lady wouldn't sell it. I gave her my phone # and a couple of years later she called wanting to sell it. Then my mother-in-law gave us the small one and it was her uncles and has a little engraved tag on it with his name and where it is supposed to be returned to. And the last few came from my mom. She had them out at my grandparent's farm and was going to tole paint on them and I ended up with the 3 nicest ones. I feel they are the nicest because they all have a name and state on them.

I bet you are so ready to be somewhere and then just be able to get up in the morning and do nothing!

LOL....do woman ever really know how to do "nothing"!! But you're right smile I'll just have to adjust my brain to accept the new places for things, that we chose and I hope I can remember!! LOL

That's really a neat story to the collection of milk cans and the lady that kept your number for a few years and then called you. Isn't the timing of things amazing sometimes?!

Thanks so much for sharing the photos and history with me, I enjoyed it smile I have to go find a spoon for my cheerios and raisins...but I knew where the milk was!! lol

Ooooh and Morty is really cute too...and how is it that we become "mama's" to our dogs...we just do smile

I wish I knew how to do nothing sometimes! I think here in a minute I am going to go have a nap with Morty...he is on my bed napping.

If you misplaced the milk I am sure you would be able to find that by following your nose eventually!
