Personally i think daughters are most attached with their parents as compare to sons. They have also caring nature for their parents.

What's the only saying about a daughter is a daughter all of her life? I think that this is true as my brother has been pretty emotionally distant from my family since he married. I see many couples who disregard the husband's family in favor of the wife's on holidays and special occasions, which I think is very wrong. I would hope if we ever have a son, that he marries a girl who is considerate of us, but I'm glad I have daughters just in case!

I don't know if I would favor the daughter more or the son. I have both. My son is a true momma's boy all the way, and my daughter is very close with me also. I think if they do favor one or the other, it's because some parents tend to favor one over the other more, be it the eldest or whatever.

I love both of mine the same and I have always done my best to show them that everyday of their lives.

If you are blessed with both a girl and a boy I would imagine that all this chat about which you'd RATHER have is pretty perplexing! I know it would be for me because I can't preferring one child over another no matter what the sex. Each has its own special characteristics and yes....benefits! But to say you LOVE one child more than the other is unimaginable to me.

For me, I love them both equally. I don't favor one over the other, but I know other parents that do and it's a shame.

I know families that lean HEAVILY towards sons over daughters. They will spend big bucks sending the boys to college and the girls don't get the same consideration. I find this a very antiquated (not to mention sexist) notion.

I also love 'em equally, I don't find any reason to prefer one over another.
