One more thing that I have found to love about my little netbook is how easy and comfortable it is to write in bed! When I used to write on paper, I could usually get over a hump or past a dry spell by changing my writing tool... going from ballpoint to a rollerball or gel pen, for example! If, like me, the way a pen feels as it goes across your paper is important to you (okay, maybe I'm just weird), you'll be able to use that difference to kind of give your writing battery a little bit of a jump! For you all who write in paper journals... I do heartily recommend that you try, at least once, the feeling of writing with a real fountain pen! It is a truly special writing experience. The ink flows so smoothly that your thoughts just seem to unfurl in such a neat, creative way just as the liquid ink flows so easily! Just a few thoughts...

I don't think it's weird at all! I write MUCH more now that I use gel pens because they flow so smoothly. I would find it tiring to write with an old ballpoint style pen.

And yes I definitely like having something that is easy to hold and use in bed.
