Hi I'm new as well and so happy to find this. Since my first child 9 years ago I have blead very heavy everyday, and i mean a large pad an hour. Cramps have been a fact of life, and my labour pains weren't as bad as my cramps have gotten. I have only had maybe 2 days at a time every 3 months or so with only minimal bleeding. Then my doctor suggested Novasure after my 2nd child, went in to have it done, and they found i was bearly pregnant so couldn't at that time. Then after my third (both my 2nd and 3 rd pregnancies i bleed right through) tried again, and instead my uterous was perfurated. Then tried again 3 months later and it didn't work i went maybe 2 days with less bleeding and a whole lot more cramps. I have had dermoid ovarian cysts (baseball size) removed and that was it for cysts and fybroids as they checked carefully before it was done because of the perfuration.

Hi! Well, I guess I'm the same boat as many of you. I am new to this site. I too was searching on-line for information on the novasure procedure. After reading so many posts on here, I will definately think twice before going through with the procedure. I have been bleeding now for 3 weeks. I went to see my Dr. on Tuesday and they took a biopsy and tomorrow I go for an ultrasound. I hope and pray all that the tests come back normal. My Dr. thinks it is just a hormonal imbalance and urged me to look into the Novasure. I do not have cramps but the bleeding at times is VERY, VERY bad. I wish there were more positive enteries rather than so many bad ones. Don't get me wrong, I am SOOOOOOOOO glad I found this site. If I hadn't, I don't think I would have batted an eye getting this procedure done. I am so nervous about making such a decision on what to do!

nhtwin1 hi, I'm going to my doc today to talk about the Nova Sure. I was so ready to have it done after bleeding for 49 days. After reading this site, I'm not sure I want to take the chance of tradeing one problem for another.I'll let you know how it goes.

Unfortunately the positive posts about Novasure were deleted a few months ago. I had it done in March, and my life has changed for the better. PMS is the same...but the back pain, cramps and bleeding are gone. Now, when I get a period, I get a very little spot of blood each day for two days. I do notice that I'm more gasey for five days but now that I expect it, I watch my diet during that time better. I would recommend it for sure.

Good luck today. I will be thinking of you. Please DO let me know what the dr. says. I feel exactly like you do, I'm not sure if I want a different problem.

I wonder why the positive posts are deleted! When women come on line to find out information on something, we need to know BOTH sides. The pros as well as the cons. How else can we make the best decision for ourselves if we only hear about the negatives? I am happy to hear that the Novasure worked for you and you are happy with the results! Thank you so much for sharing.

The positive posts were not deleted intentionally.

We recently found a bug in the system.

When a user deletes their post- it is supposed to delete that single post.

BUT, we found out (when a couple of different threads went missing, including the previous Novasure discussion) that deleting a single post wound up deleting the entire thread.

For those of you that are new to BellaOnline's forums, we did a serious upgrade about 3-4 months ago. Apparently this glitch was in the new upgrade, but we didn't realize it until about the 3rd thread went missing.

The bug has been reported to the folks that handle the software, and it is getting fixed... but that is where that really long post (with all those wonderful suggestions) went. frown

It wasn't intentional. And I really hate that we can't get the info back, because there was some very good info in that thread. I just ask that if you posted before - please post again, because like was said previously, the more info women have, the easier decisions are!

Thanks everyone.

Ahhhh, thank you for the clarification. I am happy to know that they weren't intentionally deleted. Thank you.
