Thank you for your prayers.

My pain was so bad I thought I had ovarian cysts. The reason for the first sonogram, I turned out to be pregnant.

I hope you don't need your ovaries taken out. You'd need to take hormones. Right?

I would have too!! I think!! I just went through this episode again. Started Sunday and just came back to work today!! The pain is unbearable. I am going to the DR in morning for another sonogram. I am going to talk to her about doing something. I can not keep missing work and I have two little boys. I have never had such pain before(labor would best describe it) It hurts to go to the bathroom. I am so depressed from all of this. This puts me down and I worry about work. Michelle How are you doing?

I feel okay except that ever since the D&C, I am constipated and have excruciating back pain. I look forward to my first day of feeling normal, and taking a healthy number 2!

I went back to the Dr today. My cyst is gone but it was not the root of my problems. I have scar tissue keeping me from passing blood from my period. This is just collecting. I am going to have hysterectomy 03/17/09. I am having the da vinci treatment. This is suppose to cu the recovery time down to 3 weeks. I am kinda frustrated that I had the Novasure done in July and now here I am. Michelle is a bummer that everything we have done to us causes problems with going to the bathroom. You have surgery and it hurts to go.

I had the novasure done Nov. 23,2008 and still having my period. My period still last for 7-10 days and the pain is getting worse with each one I have. I lost about 15 lbs after having the novasure done and have since gained it all back. I'm still getting very bloated and just hurt I dont know what else to do.

Hello Everyone, I'm new to the boards but very glad I found it. I too because of excessive pain and bleeding spoke w/ my Dr. who suggested Novasure, he told me about the pros and cons and I though it was a good idea, anything to get relief. But now...after reading so many negative experiences, I think I'm going to cancel my procedure. It just sounds waaay to risky. I also noticed posts about getting pregant after the Novasure even with your tubes tide? Did I read that correctly? I've had my tubes tide since 2000 and have used no other form of BC, does getting this procedure mean that I'll have to start?

My tubes weren't tied. We failed to use a condom.

My back pain is gone for now.

I had novasur done 10/28/08. 6wks later better?? NO WAY doc didn't d&c w/ novasure becuz afraid machine wouldn't fire,ok. treated for infection. still dark discharge. no follow up appt. insurance change 11/01/08.called dr. only talked to nurse use over the counter med to treat. periods extremely heavy 2 days then light but, but has my period stopped???? I discharge or have bled EVERY DAY since surgery.gave name of new place to go. new dr 3/11/08. KNOWING what I know now about novasure(procedure extremely quick check surgery 730am, home 840am)told me to use heat but ice packs worked better felt like contractions motrin and tylonel together took the edge off. My sister is experiencing everything i did her dr is recommending vag hyster. it doesn't take anything out just fools body and supposedly NO periods with out hormone replacement. I'm going to look into this. Would I reccomend novasure?????? Let's just say look into ALL other options. thanks for listening and I hope this helps others who are looking into this procedure.
