I think it's more that the women have the money to spend and feel generous  I mean, what car is really worth $100,000? Is it really THAT much better at being a car? But people spend that money because they have it

I suppose it's all a matter of scale. Let's say it was $5 and you had a guy who sweet talked you, was nice to you, listened to you and danced with you all night long. That might seem sort of appealing

Oh a $5 guy? No way! LOL...if you're going to get an escort to open your car door, dance with you, show you the town etc, you might as well get a top of the line guy LOL...But the whole time I'd be thinking--he doesn't like ME, but my money even if it was only $5. That's why the money exchange thing bugs me. I feel that I shouldn't have to pay for anything.

I saw a special on this.. these male escorts are really just selling that feeling of appreciation the women don't get from their husbands. Sure- sex is involved but its more about feeling desired, appreciated, beautiful.

I can see it. We pay people all the time to pay attention to us. People get therapy and often it's so have someone to talk to, someone who listens and seems sympathetic/to care.
We pay people to touch us when we get massages, pedicures, facials and manicures. Even haircuts fall in this category. For some people this is all the touch they get at all.
We pay for fine restaurants to get good service along with the good food.
Sure, these are services, but so is a trained escort. This is someone whose entire JOB is to make sure you feel attended to, appreciated, attractive and admired. There won't be any fights. You don't have to deal with uncertainties. The men are most likely very attractive but also baggage-free (since you aren't DATING them).
