LOL I hope these people are using their mobile phones to make these PERSONAL telephone calls! The occasional personal call is reasonable but more is not.

HAH are you kidding, not only are they getting paid for the time they are taking to make the calls, they are using the work phone so they are shown as "busy". Otherwise we would be transferring them ACTUAL business calls. Can't have that! I get a personal call maybe once every two to three MONTHS so the multiples daily really drive me nuts. ESPECIALLY since the kids aren't exactly babies anymore... and I have heard what they talk about. It is nothing that couldn't wait until lunch time or after work.

As a parent, it bothers me too. I tell my kids call me when you get home from school (to make sure they're safe) or if something is urgent - house on fire, intruder, otherwise I'm at work and busy. Besides, they're at school most of the day, and I get home an hour after they do so if it's not urgent, it can wait until we are all in the kitchen getting dinner ready.

I definitely understand what you're saying. I actually get annoyed when anyone at work makes a long personal phone call to anyone else. Not just parent to child, but spouse to spouse, friend to friend, girlfriend to boyfriend.
