It has been years since I read "Chariots of Fire". The main thing I remember were the pictures of the giant land sculptures/paintings and the fact that they can be viewed best from way up in the air. There was a theory that these were made by Gods from an earlier time for directions/symbols/messages to others who would follow them. I will have to get the book and read it again. I just remember that at the time, I was very fascinated about it.

Is it Chariots of the Gods or Chariots of Fire? I have some song going through my head with one of them

Chariots of Fire, I believe, was the movie. Chariots Of The Gods is the book I am referring to - sorry for the mix-up there. I have got to get another copy and read it again.

Thanks Phyllis. It sounds great! I'll have to read it. I'm a firm believer there are other civilizations much more advanced than our own. I also feel they monitor us in some manner do to the solar systems affect on other galaxies. Other than that I'm not seeing too much of a preoccupation with us but for possible genetics or recreating specimens for some reason

I do see our species as a whole living on a different planet though. Thought I should add that. We pretty much end up torching this one at some point. We aren't wiped out - we go on through this other place.

Do you think there is the possibility then that places like Atlantis, that no one has ever proven where the site is, could have been on another planet or in another solar system?

Oo, oo, oo! Y'all have hit on my pet "wacky theory", LOL!

This is kind of a "hmmmmmm" theory that I have come up with, beause I have no proof whatsoever, just kind of a "I wonder" type thing.

But I have said a few times that I wonder if the Garden of Eden is possibly on another planet. That when Adam and Even were banished from the Garden they were actually sent here to Earth, and that is why man cannot seem to get very far in space travel. It seems like we made 1 huge lead (going to the moon) and then we've just kind of plodded along ever since.

Ok - I'll turn it back over to you guys. (I promise I only spout one cuckoo theory a day).

There are a lot of things that we today don't have "proof" of that we will...

just as our history in the making will be re-written and someone will go back and rediscover what exactly went on.

For instance...

There are actually people trying to dispose of the Holocaust.

We don't even understand what is beneath our own sea let alone our own planet's exterior...i.e. galaxy. Why would it be so hard to believe that an ancient civilization such as Atlantis did exist (small as it was) and fell due to geographical catastrophe? Not even a month ago we were hearing about an area in space unidentifiable until now.

But that's just my experience with things. A closed mind is an empty one.
