My absolute favorite line is J.Crew. After that, its Banana Republic and The Gap. None of those stores are typically affordable, but their online shopping deals can be amazing. And even shopping clearance and closeout sales will get you clothing for about the same price or little more than the thrift stores, yard and garage sales, and consignment shops. Retail stores discount clothing long before the season ends. One more thing is, planning ahead and buying for the next season is another great way to save on your clothing budget.

I buy my clothes at Wal-Mart, Goodwill and Salvation Army. You can find some really nice things in there. I have seen people buy underwear in the aGoodwill and Salvation Army stores. I draw the line at buying used underwear lol

Goodwill is great, especially since my children never stay the same height/size for long. I can usually find almost brand new jeans for them at or local shop; and I like knowing that the funding goes towards job training and placement assistance for hard to place individuals.

Goodwill has jeans for 4 dollars. If you have the time to look you can find practically brand new clothes. The Salvation Army is always having half priced sales.

My friends and I call the Goodwill...the GW Warehouse. LOL
We love it. Right across the street from me is a Baby and children resale shop. I've bought high chairs, carseats, clothes, and toys for when my grandchildren come to visit.

I shop at Target like Michelle Obama! There is always K-mart and Walmart.

**Walmart especially because they have patterns and material and I can make it myself even cheaper!

Hi, I go to the mall every so often and only buy on sale things, it is a bit painful, cause it takes a lot of time looking for the right thing in whatever is left in the stores but since there is no money, what else can I do? surprisingly though, I have been finfindg nice things at Sears lately, and the prices are actually pretty good.
