I use to have this thing when I was younger that I called "instant knowledge." I was really mad about it too. I went to my dad because he was a professor and thought that he would know anything I asked about. A little hero worshiping I guess.

I told him I can't follow the teachers in math class with the equations but that if they called on me I could just tell them the answers. He told me that was impossible. I also remember telling my parents while we were driving from IA to IL about different areas along the way. Mom would just say, "How do you know that? They must have just taught you that early in school." I had no idea what she was talking about at the time. I know now why she was thinking it all through though.

Like you, the ability to do that isn't quite as strong anymore. Part of it is that I'm distracted with everyday life. You, though, sound like you've got a photographic memory. Man oh man forensic science or even crime investigation would have a field day with you! smile

sometimes I just think we are all a part of a huge grid of energy. Some travel actively along any grid while others have specialties in certain areas and dedicate themselves to just those.

Oh how I wish it were photographic memory. The problem is I soak up everything, and have no clue where it goes.

I cannot imagine really being "the only ones" to inhabit this whole galaxy....

I dated a guy that was a navigator on a plane. His first week was almost up and a blue streak went past the plane. He grabbed the radio and was about to call it in, when the co-pilot slapped his hand and asked him if he was crazy. He explained - "We see it all the time and everyone knows it, but if you report it - there goes your job, your career, etc. Let it go."

I absolutely get this. This is about the feeling I got when my friends dad told us about his experience. He really was weighing it out. The sense I got was that he felt, now that he's out of the military, he finally decided to live life the way it was meant to, and told us.

I'm glad we are starting to hear more and more, credible witnesses coming to the front line. I am even more glad we will see evidence of civilizations that have already been where we are and learned from it, advancing (at least). I know there are worldly evironmental civilizations as well as destructive ones, but here it just seems we re-hash the same things over and over again. It certainly broadens your perspective and just what is obtainable in the univers - kind of outside of your own back door type deal.

Thanks, Rosie!
It was a bit rainy today, but I did get some things accomplished. Tomorrow we're off to the Okefenokee Swamp for a guided tour and some lone paddling afterwards. Our tour guide has been featured on several shows on PBS.

It's going to be clear, but a bit chilly, so I think the swamp will be peaceful, preparing for the winter. There have been many sightings in and near the swamp, so we might see something. Not sure if that would be a birthday present or not?

I think you have a photographic memory and then some. I personally feel that we built our talents from life time to life time.

Take Edgar Cayce for instance. He was well known for health and medical application readings when throughout his life he was introverted and a photographer plus a minister. None of these things would account for what he did and how accurate he was with diagnosing and remedies.

Same thing with what you are taking in or me with seeing ahead and speaking about it. I'll bet a lot of people feel things but kind of just push it aside and get on with every day business. I have this martyr thing, from my past I'm guessing where I simply have to say what's going on or die trying...go figure. When I was growing up, all I wanted was to live, like yourself, about 15 miles from the beach. I travel cross country but see the shores on occasion. I guess that can do smile

My husband watched this video, he says this looks more like an explosion than a meteor.

I am part American Indian and they believe that we have a collective councieness in that we carry the memories and ideas of our ancestors with us kind of like instincts are passed on.
They can be accessed thru rituals or in time of stress. This is a big universe and who knows what goes on. Cool discussion though.

Hi George, welcome,

You'll enjoy Phyllis, our Native American forum moderator and editor. She pops in here now and again and really puts into perspective how each of us are connected, memories, dreams and all.

It is a big universe and you never know, exactly what you'll run into before our time here is done.
