Here's another news flash!! We are in a "Depression" and you can't admit it.

Really? That's interesting. At last count Obama had raised over $150 MILLION for his campaign. That's a lot of money considering we are in a "depression." And speaking of this money, shouldn't Obama follow his own advice and "spread the wealth" rather than spend the funds? Just a thought.

News Flash!!! The American people have been losing their jobs in record numbers.

Apparently you do not get your data from the US Dept of Labor because your statement is completely false. The numbers have been slightly higher this last quarter which are due to a number of circumstances (including the fear of an Obama presidency). However, the numbers prior to this past quarter have been relatively steady. The current rate is 6.1% and it has been much higher historically.

Additionally and once again, according to the latest figures released by the US Dept of Labor, wages are UP 3.6% compared to this time last year.

Our economy could certainly be better but to say that it is on the verge of "tribulation" is hardly supportable with facts.

Thank you for putting this in here, Michelle. I wish more people would take more notice of this. After the property tax, consumption tax, 54 cents per gallon of gasoline tax, ect, ect, you are actually giving well over 50% in taxes.

If you pay taxes, you don't make a dime until June-July for yourself. Think about the 40-80 hours a week that you might put in to support your family, for six months, goes straight to the government.

I cannot remember where I heard this (and I've been searching for it everywhere on the web since yesterday)

But I was told that the IRS and income taxes were originally meant to just be a temporary fix when they were first levied. They were not meant to sustain our country forever and they certainly weren't meant to be raised and raised like they have been.

Has anybody else ever heard this? Or did I just misunderstand something?
