I almost can't believe this. What was the cause and was it expected? I have not heard that she has been ill.
Another of the greats, no one like her now. She will be missed.

I thought it was Dee Dee Warwick, Dionne's sister. You might want to double check.

Correct... Dee Dee was Dionne's younger sister. Dee Dee passed away.

Yes, You are correct. It was her sister, Dee Dee, who passed away. Also a great voice and a great loss. Dionne's Website has just a short announcement.

Wow! I just looked up the news story on her. I knew Dionne Warwick (such a beautiful voice!), but I never knew she had a sister that sang, too. She was drop-dead gorgeous! Look at this pic: DeeDee Warwick Obituary

She was in a nursing home when she passed away, in New Jersey
