We seem to be stuck on Disney characters (and no, it wasn't just the kids' idea). We have a Collie mix named Stitch, and a Berner named Sully.
The funniest dog names that I have heard have been:
Hamster (my in-laws' Golden), Mouse (my neighbor's Aussie), and Tater (my BIL's Lab).

We had a dog named Roshi Kai. He was named after two characters from the DragonBall Z series. smile

The pet adoption had there dogs at a local pet store one Saturday. My daughter was wanting to adopt a small dog so we went there to look the pups over. While we were there a middle aged woman dressed to the 9's came in. She was a very classy lady. She takes one look at this blue tick hound in a cage and starts crying saying "Moonshine.. it's Moonshine." The pup was half grown and not a small dog, but the woman gets "Moonshine" and is holding her and hugging her. Then she makes a call on her cell phone. She's crying and saying "I found a dog that looks just like Moonshine. She's beautiful."
About 10 minutes later her mom walks in the door, takes one look at the dog and she starts crying. They are hugging the dog and crying and everyone around is getting teary eyed. When they put the dog down to sign the papers it came to where i was sitting and laid it's head on my knee. I looked at her and said "You are going to be one loved pup."
