I was amazed that gas prices shot back up over $4 a gallon. It must be Ike. Everytime a hurricane comes along, the industry raises their prices. They found out they can get by with it. It is time to drill for oil everywhere we think there is a drop. At the same time, we must explore all possible forms of energy and bring the best into practical application. It is mandatory that McCain/Palin be elected in November.

It pains me to see these big hearse-like SUVs with only one person (the driver) in the vehicle. SUVs have got to go. NASCAR is something else that must go. We have men driving in circles (burning fuel like it is worthless) until they commit suicide like their hero, "Hit-the-Wall-Dale." What a waste!

I can certainly understand your worry about gas prices.$4 a gallon does hurt the pocketbook. I agree that finding alternative forms of fuel and drilling are possible ways to fix the problems we have.

And you are certainly entitled to your oppinion about things that need to be cut out or changed, but that's no reason for personal attacks. Regardless of the reason why a person dies it is no less a trajedy to those who love them.

Just remember that not only was Dale Sr. a NASCAR driver, but he was a father, a husband and a friend to many people. So, your comments may not be appreicated by everyone who reads this forum.
