My list of country wedding songs needs to be updated and I need your help, what songs would you recommend be added to the list? Mother/Son and Father/Daugher first dance songs would be a good thing too.

Did you use a special song in your wedding? Let me know and maybe it will make it on the list too!

We used "Hold Onto Me" by John Michael Montgomery & "No Place That Far" by Sara Evans.

I vote for "Lost in this Moment", which is sung by both Big & Rich, and it's also on Keith Anderson's newest CD "C'Mon". The version by Big & Rich is gorgeous, but I think Anderson's sounds more heartfelt & honest. It's simply beautiful...I wish it would have been around when I got married several years ago!

All great choices. I love how there are new songs coming out that can be used in weddings, there for a while it seemed like all that was being released were the getting drunk and rowdy songs.

I love the song God Bless The Broken Road- By Rascal Flatts,it is very nice.

My son is getting married Oct 4, and we plan to dance to "I hope you Dance" by Leeann Womack, as our mother /son dance. He chose it because he says thats how I've always inspired him. I'm all teary-eyed telling you all that, I'm so proud of him.

My DH and I got married in our yard and the music that I walked "down the aisle" to was From This Moment by Shania Twain. It was very beautiful.

When I got married, our wedding song to dance to was At Last sung by Etta James. Good song to dance to.

I never get tired of hearing "you're still the one" by shania twain at weddings. It feels quite good when you hear it..

How about Follow Me by John Denver? It's a pretty fair song for a wedding in my opinion.

Another good love song if you like ballad style is Bonnie Kellswater by the Irish Rovers.

The two country songs that were played on our wedding, a wedding on a ranch in Bandera, TX, were "Amazed" by LoneStar and "Keeper of the Stars" by Tracy Byrd. We both still get tears in our eyes when we listening to those songs whenever they are played on the radio.
