This is my last response on this matter. I was responding to the initial post regarding religion in the political race. I am unaware of ANY politician attempting to push laws in the way you write about. I am in total agreement, though. I do not want any government, politician, or law to tell me what religion (or lack thereof) to practice. My religion doesn't even force me to practice anything. I do so because I choose to practice and obey what my religion teaches which is a part of how I make decisions in all areas of my life. My religion is not just something I do/practice/believe only on Sundays. It is a part of me, my life, and my thinking.
You see, I am a thinking Christian -- intelligent, analytical, joy-filled, learning new things everyday, lover of all people and cultures, and totally qualified (if I chose to do so) to be the next president of the United States.
