Last night a friend had a chocolate party. We dunked cherries, strawberries, grapes, Jelly Belly Butter Flavored Popcorn jelly beans, etc in chocolate.
Other than the jelly beans, the only other "unique" thing we tried covered in chocolate was Jalapeno flavored Pringle's potato chips. They were not bad at all!!
Is there anything unique you have ever tried with chocolate.....or would like to try?? It doesn't have to be alphabetized and you can use any letter you want.

Well, this isn't unique...
But for my daughter's b'day party I had chocolate fondue set up with strawberries, pineapple, bananas, apples, and marshmallos - and i set the ice cream and coole wip out beside it. SO they got to make their own kind of sundaes. But they got to feel more "grownup" doing it this way.
(Her party was a makeup party, with sodas served in champagne - plastic- flutes)
Very Hollywood elegant feel. They loved it!

What is great is buttered toast dipped in hot chocolate. That was a favorite after a day of sledding.

Believe it or not, chocolate-covered potato chips are wonderful. Just be sure to let them cool completely.
Dipping peanut-butter cookies in chocolate is insanely divine, and you do *not* have to let them cool (though you can if you have that kind of patience).

...and rereading the original posting, I see that potato chips were already mentioned! But it's worth adding that a really thick, "ruffled" chip is great for this, especially if you let the chocolate harden completely.

I'm a big fan of dipping my fingers in chocolate.

--D. That does sound good. Now how about making them barbecue chips. I can imagine the tangy taste of the chip with with the sweetness of the chocolate. I'll bet that would be an interesting taste.

How about Hananero Chips? The spicy and sweet combination might be interesting.

Someone at work told me about jalapeno peppers - dip those in dark chocolate. I have not tried them, and am not sure I will because the peppers are still hot. Does sound intriguing, though.

I wouldn't have thought of it, but my son is a scout and their chocolate-caramel crunch popcorn is absolutely delicious!
But of course, you gotta go with a classic -- chocolate covered chocolate. ;-)

I love chocolate in Chilli or cassoroles. Strawberries dipped in chocolate followed by Croissants (dipped in chocolate) and champagne is my favourite breakfast. Chocolate cheese is also a great tasting treat for me!

I like dried apricots dipped in honey -- then dipped in milk chocolate. Luscious!! Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory makes these and I buy a box whenever I'm there.

OMG - those sound sooooo evil! This is a terrible thread - I am trying to get back to eating right so I can look good for my 20 yr HS reunion, and then all of you guys post things like this on here, and I'm like running out to the store to go buy emergency chocolate!
