I love egg plant parmiganno but strangely my best was in a Hero in New Jersey. Otherwise fried zucchini flowers that I had in Frascati, an incredible porcini mushroom pizza cooked in a wood burning stove and served on a wooden platter in a restaurant in the Alps. Then there is the brilliant Italian bread with roast artichokes, buffalo mozzarella, extra virgin olive oil washed down with a robust red wine. Tagliatella Alfredo or pasta fagioli. Oh God I have to go and eat something now. Ciao
