I believe there is a difference between rich and wealthy.

To me being rich means you have all the money to do all the things you want. Your money is tangible. I associate being rich with being spoiled and vanity. I don't think it's a bad thing to be rich but to me to be rich for some reason seems to place people above every one else and just because they are rich it some how commands respect from others. To me many rich people have what I call false humility.

Being wealthy on the other hand is a well rounded approach. To be wealthy means you have a plan and you have everything figured out. You are willing to help others and others welfare is just as important as your own. To me wealthy means you have love, life and your pursuit of happiness was successful. Being wealthy means family, health and charity.

Now I am not saying that this is the case for every one but it is how I see it. Many times I say I want to be rich but I know when I say it really is my greed talking. When I say I want to be wealthy I am speaking in terms of helping others, enjoying my family, enjoying my life and my marriage with out stress.

Wealthy to me is when you have prepared for the future, able to live in the present with out financial fear.

Rich to me is just money. That's it money.

Wealth to me is a full and meaningful life.

I don't know if this makes since but it is the way I see it.
