And, yes, I would totally already put the bio in there. For one thing, you can add links to your work here and vice versa! And, nobody expects award winning websites to be build overnight. Your audience in fact would probably love to follow your growth!

My one-year goals:
Five minutes to one hour of yoga a day every day. Eat healthy, mostly veggies and protein. Lose 20 pounds. Stop eating junk late at night. Nothing after 9 pm. Walk or equivalent of 30 minute walk/five times a week. Complete Women Run Memphis Program and 5K in Sept. Savings: First pay off debts (about $3,200), then increase savings deduction to $200 a month. If I eventually hope to get married, I suppose I have to date. So, say yes more. Compile SOHO ebook and begin walking ebook. Schedule two drinks meetings to talk about networking group. Increase cross-marketing of content among different social sites. Reach top 10,000 in Amazon reviewers.

Deb, those are well-thought out goals and totally achievable in one year! You have so much energy and enthusiasm that I am sure several will happen much more quickly than a year. Some thoughts - - has Lisa made you a weight milestone sign? - I started a food log in the low carb forum - do you have personal websites I can link to? - are you twittering? - I met my husband through match.com, if you were wondering if that works for people (ask me about it if ya like) - use the yoga log in the yoga forum to let us know what you did when you do it, even if it's a few downdogs and that's it - I think you have some amazing stuff to pull together already for a walking ebook. Just saying.

Deb, thanks for the ideas. I put my bio up in there and in jillflorio.com. Tomorrow JF will get a new theme...so it will let better than the current WordPress template that's going so far. I also added links to JF from my own works and those of personal friends.

I've been reading John Assaraf's new book, The Answer, which is about using the Law of Attraction to build a business. It's made me realize I do need to set more specific goals about where I want to be one year from now.
Great ideas Jill! I have used Twitter for my blog but hadn't thought of using it to pursue goals.

Thanks Joan! Several of us have been using twitter to mention when we are working on our goals, and as we are reaching small successes in our goals, and to cheerlead each other. It's helpful. My twitter is hippygeek if anyone wants to follow me.

Thanks, Jilly! You are too kind, but I appreciate it!
I made my own milestone sign when Lisa started talking about losing her five pounds, but I think there's one on the post that works for me, too (and is prettier!). I was premenstrual, so losing weight wasn't happening last week!
Tonight, I start my 5k walk/run training! I'm so hoping my knee and hip hold up with the running. I'm ready with ice & linaments!
I hate food logs, so much accounability! LOL--I started on on paper last week and abandoned it because I couldn't stand to write it all down! It's the stupid late night stuff--always. Geesh!
Love the yoga log idea, though--I'll totally do that!

Deb, good luck with the 5k training! What are you going to do to train?
I am getting prepped for mine too. It's too hot to run outside but I am using my treadmill at night. I have finally been able to get up to 2.5 mph without having my pulled groin hurt. So i just have to try to get to 3.0 and that will be running, and track it for 5 kilometers.
Although, honeslty i would be happy to walk mine, but i want to see how running goes with my groin thing.
