Living simply for me is not spending money on anything that you can't pay off in full when you get the credit card bill at the end of the month. Never pay interest charges!
Also, we seldom eat out except for special events. I fix all our meals at home and we have a big deep freezer in the basement as well as food storage shelves down there to which we stock up on bulk and sale items.
