Are the options needles the interchangeable ones or not?

<sniff, sniff>

My favorites WERE a pair of 10.5 Brittany black walnut needles with the victorian-style turned ends. I broke one! Took them with me to college and inn the midst of getting them and a heavy backpack out of the car. I keep looking on eBay to see if a single shows up; pairs are going for $40+ (the company no longer makes them.)

Other than that, I have a ton of cheap aluminum straights in 14 and 10" lengths, and quite a few cheap aluminum and plastic circulars. I find 10" straights most comfortable.

I planted some curly willow last year--as it grows I think I'll make myself a pair of one of a kind needles just to see how they feel.

Wow, that is sad to break a needle. I wonder if you look in antique stores if you would have any luck replacing it.

I also have a lot of 10" and 14" straight aluminum needles that were my grandma's and I use them less and less often, but I can't part with them.
