Hi Lisa, in your list of goals you’ve replaced 'Play moonlight sonata on piano' with 'Play the Mozart song on piano'. How did you get on with the Moonlight Sonata? Which Mozart song are you working on now? Joy

I used to have long, mid, and short term goals. But more recently, I've broken my goals down into quarters. Even though there's 15 or 16 of them (which change as I accomplish each one), I'm not limited to a handful for the year that I end up forgetting about. I'm doing well on all except the ones centered around making a profit in an online business. Lisa, you are right about getting centered. We tend to plow ahead toward one goal and everything else sort of takes a back seat. Balance is essential - not only interns of how successful you are, but in how you feel. Your overall well-being.

Joy -

I lost interest in the Moonlight Sonata song, it's a bit depressing, so I switched to another whose name I forgot smile. And now the music room is jammed full of stuff so I can't get to my piano. It's on my list to get that dug out again.

OMG YAY!! I am so happy to have found this thread is still active. I went back and looked at my old posts from five years ago - it seems I never actually posted my five year goals LOL.

I do know a couple I've accomplished.
But many I did not. So, back to the drawing board.

Five Year Goals as of 2015

1. Radiant Health.
2. Nurturing and supportive relationships.
3. Publish my fiction books.
4. Publish my non-fiction.
5. Grow my business.

Deanna, I looked back through this thread and read your lap harp post. What ever came of that goal?

Alice, I got more involved with my guitar smile And, then loaned my harp to a friend - she's a folk singer, and she and the harp became very good friends smile

Wow!!! This thread is SOOOOOO old. I need to revisit it!
