I understand those feelings, but it's not selfish, caring for yourself is vital, you have to care for yourself before you can give to others : )

HI,
I'm glad to hear that you found a new job that is better for yourself. Angel I give you alof of credit to make these changes in your life. It is not easy. It is very hard to stay away fro what you know & were used to. Even if it was not a good situation. Speaking for myself & my past, it can be hard to walk away, from a toxic relationship. At times people can get addicted to those types of people. It was only when I started to change myself, then I was able to walk away from certain people.

I used to think that I had to put up with almost anything. It was nice for me to finally learn that I did have different choices. Now, I can usually spot people who are very toxic for me, fairly soon. But you know, some of them put on a real good act for a long time. I do admire your courage to make the positive changes in your life. Judy K. Chicago.

Hi,
Is anyone out there getting annoyed with these posts that have nothing at all to do with the subject?? Noone posted anything about alcoholism over here. Kellysteve is posting on other boards here & it has nothing at all to do with the subject or problems that people are talking about at all. Angel? Anybody? I have contacted 1 of the editors about this. It will just confuse people. Can someone help? I also told Kellysteve about this on some other posts she has made like this. Thanks. Judy K. Chicago.
