I'm trying to do yoga for relaxation and stress relief for my children (specifically, my 9 y.o, Type A personality son). We're using Lazy Lizards Yoga and its okay; but they move through the positions very quickly. I actually ordere Susan Kramer's books on Yoga and Meditation for Kids. But if anyone has any good suggestions (beginning level, moving slowly), I'd appreciate it!

It's only 300 cranes this time but then they need to be strung on lines. Bob is going to do the stringing part. Hopefully I'll be done with the crane part tomorrow!

Lynn - that sounds like an awesome idea! I'm surprised there aren't a ton of "yoga for kids" DVDs out there. Do you have a Wii? The WiiFit game is SUPER fun and has a lot of yoga in it, and is very slow ...

There ARE a ton of yoga for kids DVDs out there. The Lazy Lizards came highly recommended; but its very fast and has little on stretching or breathing. We also have A-Z Yoga, but its just a position guide. Unfortunately, none of these videos are available at our local video place or in the library for trial. I don't want to order any more unless I can get a solid recommendation from someone using them.
