I love to sketch and often try to draw a giraffe. You would think it would be easy, but I have a tendency to make the legs too long and the neck too short! And the spots are not easy either! I will keep trying, though.

These are just flat-line drawings. If I am not satisfied with a sketch then I do not complete it with shading, directional lines, etc to add depth. Here is one of my drawings:  Here is another:

The paper I drew on is beige so the images come out a little dark. I hope you can see them ok.
Critics take aim! I am open to your opinions. Like I said above, if I am not satisfied with the drawing, I do not finish it - so there is no depth or texture in the drawings, it is just flat.

Thank you, Jilly. I have to work on the proportions because I just cannot seem to get the neck long enough - maybe if I get some taller paper...?
