What I've been told is that the skin is still just too sensitive. They still have that "baby-soft" skin, with lots of tiny fine hairs that will all get plucked out and easily get inflamed or even ingrown and infected.

That's why I'm insisting unti she's 13.

OK, here's pictures:

No eyebrows

Cosmetically applied eyebrows

I'm thinking of a new career as a makeup artist.

You have a very pretty girl. Thanks for the laugh. This is one of those "priceless" moments that you'll tell her children later on. lmao

Chelle... it's never too early to start with the waxing. I started at age 10. Now I hardly have to wax but to do cleanups. a lot of them don't grow back and thats just fine with me ;0)

btw... great job on the makeup brows

What a doll! She seems to have your fine textured skin, it probably would be very irritating to pluck or wax. Good job on pencilling (?) them in. What color and brand did you use? That's a nice shade of brown and I haven't had much luck finding a brown that's just right.

Thank you to everyone who has complimented Jordan.

I, of course think she's gorgeous - but them I'm a little biased, LOL! wink

I took her to the local Ulta store and had them help us.

It is a product by Smashbox cosmetics called "Brow Tech" - and it is a compact with eyebrow wax and a colored powder thst you apply with an angled brush (which you buy separately - but I had one from her cheerleading makeup). The color we chose for Jordan was "taupe", because she has brown hair, but all these really golden blonde highlights from being out in the sun so much; so it looked better than the darker brown. But had it been winter time, I probably would have gone with "soft brown".

Here's the Smashbox page with all the colors: Smashbox Cosmetics: BrowTech
