Dognut - I'm sorry if you misunderstood smile

It was **other married no kids** people who were offended by the term "breeders". That is why we asked people not to use that term, so that the many lurking married no kids members could fee happy posting here. It had nothing to do with parents.

The banner you see about "living Without Children" is to keep you safe FROM parents. That way if a parent accidentally comes in here, they do not bingo you. They are told in no uncertain terms that this is a support area for you.

You're an amazing person. I really appreciate how open minded, intelligent & realistic you are. Too bad there aren't a gazillion more parents like you. Most of my experiences with kids in public has been very negative. For the most part nothing is expected from them, they can do/say anything they want & don't have to respect anyone. They think the world owes them everything. Their parents have not prepared them for the real world & they will be in therapy forever. That is, if the parents will pay for it. Because no employer will put up with their narcissistic [censored].

Thank you! I couldn't agree more. I call it as I see it. And breeder is appropriate for a lot of people. I live in metro Detroit & until last year welfare paid for an unlimited number of kids from people who want to live off the gov. instead of actually making a living. Whole generations of families often live in the same house w/each getting gov. handouts. This results in a very good living for all involved. Finally a limit was put on how many kids the gov. would pay for & a limit for assistance forcing them to get a job. I'm a working taxpaying citizen & I'm disgusted at what my taxes go for when people want to sponge off the gov.

I know that some MNK members like the word "breeder" - but we have heard from many MNK people that they are bothered by it. So to keep the forums open to all MNK members, from all cultures, we want to avoid that word in our conversation.

Remember, we have MNK members from India, China, and many other countries where they are very sensitive to word choice. So we want to make sure we can help them out!

The person who privately e-mailed me-I can't seem to find that feature again. I e-mailed you back but can't get back to where I see your reply.

Dognut,

If you look at the top of the page yiu'll see "My Stuff" - click on that and it is a pulldown menu. Then click on "My messages" and that will list all the private messages you have either sent OR received.
