Here's an interesting site a friend sent to me. You register for this site and put in a profile. It lets you choose a subject and bring up about a dozen blogs associated with it. You can write one comment and post to all the blogs to help get your link out there.

It's all free to do and kind of fun. You are posting blind tho. You aren't reading the blog posts so you comment has to be kind of general.

sounds interesting joan - my blog is kind of new - it's for sharing my 'earning online with writing for the internet' tips for beginning writers - i could type in 'writing' and see what comes up - new blogs need lots of exposure - thanks anyway, i'll take a look

Many websites now use a 'no-follow' code which redirects all external links back to their homepage.

I've spent some time playing around with Comment Kahuna and figured out how to respond to individual postings on blogs. I am actually getting some traffic back from some of these.

They indicate which blogs have no follow code so you don't have to comment on those and they also indicate page ranking.

The newer version also lists ezine articles and squidoo lens which you can comment on.

BellaShorts, I'll check out your blog, thanks! Mine is about health, my health products businesses, and how to be successful working at home.

This site is fun! Thanks for posting it.

I found lots of things to comment on with network marketing.

Surely the idea of trying to generate more traffic to your own links, by sending out a mass comment to blogs you haven't read and aren't necessarily interested in, that's the epitome of spam, isn't it?

Unless I am misunderstanding something.

Did I miss something too? Didn't see anything about mass posting. I only respond to individual blogs that are useful or interesting.

I figured out how to use the comment Kahuna and you can look at each blog and respond individually.

It will do a mass posting to all on the list if you want it to but that isn't very productive!

Ah, that makes more sense, sorry about that smile

The way you described it initially, it sounded like a spam tool, and I'm sure we all know how irritating spam can be. Don't want to encourage tools like that!!

But like you say, posting to each blog is a great way to get your link out there and seen by people.

I usually find that my comments on blogs related to my topics give the best results anyway. My London travel comments seem to bring back mostly advice queries! for example. However, that is also good as it sparks a 'buzz' and sometimes people move on to read my other articles like short stories.
