At the airport last month I watched an extended family (so several adults including grandparents)allow their toddler to run riot amongst the check-in queue - yanking on the rope barriers etc till they nearly fell done, and cheer him on like he was some sort of hero. What sort of messages are they sending him?
That's he's a clown, there for their amusement! j/k
But really these parents think "Oh they're just kids. That's what kids do". No, that's
not what kids do. A kid doesn't know any better and it's your job as a parent to
teach them how to behave in public.
